She’s the founder of Refigure Ltd and director of the Spring Forward Festival, empowering women in tech through coaching, events, and diversity advocacy. A former Chief Community Officer at Wired Sussex and a Fellow of the RSA, Rifa champions inclusive growth through creativity and collaboration.

I’m a coach and consultant for the tech and creative industries. I was the CCO of Wired Sussex
What inspired you to speak at EVOLVE [25]?
I wanted to get involved with Silicon Brighton in. a more meaningful way
What was the key message or idea you most wanted the audience to take away from your talk?
That AI was not to be feared and more underrepresented voices needed to use it to be part of the next gen of tech.
Were there any audience reactions or questions that really stood out to you?
Bobby Brown is always good – he was very enthusiastic about using AI for his business. He would be a great speaker

I’m passionate about seeing more under represented people in the tech industry

AI, 5G, and virtual production
What advice would you give to someone looking to make an impact in your area of expertise?
find a coach or mentor to help as this industry can be tough and we need more allies
How do you see the future evolving in your industry over the next few years?
More companies using AI and more people having free time to enjoy their lives
What was your favourite part of the EVOLVE experience?
The atmosphere was so buzzing and it was great to see so many people from the tech industry that I know
