At first glance, writing a book seems like a lot of work. To many people, it might even seem impossible.

Simon is dyslexic, so the thought of writing a book seemed like something they’d never be able to do. But in 2023, Simon published their first nonfiction book and now, they want to share with you some of the things they learned and how they made it manageable!

If you’re thinking about writing a nonfiction book – or if you think you might not be able to – this workshop will offer you a different, neurodivergent-friendly perspective on the whole process.

What’s the format of the event?

18:00-18:30 – Arrival and settle in

18:30-19:00 – Presentation with key takeaways

19:00-19:45 – Guided exercise where you can work on an idea for your nonfiction book or observe others working on theirs

19:45-20:00 – Q&A and ideas sharing

20:00-20:30 – Networking and event wind down
