A FAMILY DAY FOR ALL THE COMMUNITY
BARCO bring you the [mini] BASH’ – a fun family day featuring a vibrant collection of workshops delivered by Brighton’s Black community for all.
The sessions run throughout the day and include;
o Flag & Mask-Making
o Creative Writing with children’s author Ricky Baxter
o Poetry with AFLO. the Poet
o Steel Pan & Drumming
o Healing Sound Bath with Adriana Lord
o Dance, Singing, Djembe & Karimba
o Screening & Talk with award-winning novelist Alex Wheatle
and much much more…
The [mini] BASH is a taster for the annual flagship event ‘BARCO BASH Carnival’ which this year takes place at St Ann’s Well Gardens, Brighton on 27th July 2024.
