This July, Brighton’s vibrant tech community came together for EVOLVE [25]: Shaping Tomorrow, a one-day conference that brought together some of the brightest minds in technology. From neurotechnology and data visualisation to AI ethics, wearable tech, and team culture, the agenda was packed with insight, inspiration, and forward-thinking. EVOLVE [25] wasn’t just about showcasing innovation, it was about exploring how technology can meaningfully shape our future.
Vision for the Future
The central theme, Shaping Tomorrow, captured the event’s tone and purpose. Throughout the day, speakers challenged attendees to think bigger and to consider how emerging technologies can be used not just for progress, but for positive, inclusive, and lasting impact. Sessions took a broad perspective, addressing how tech is influencing the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us. That’s why EVOLVE [25] feels so timely. A day full of ideas, conversations, and moments that help us zoom out and reflect on what technology is really doing, and where it is going next.
Beyond the Stage
While the talks, panels, keynotes, and workshops were powerful, much of EVOLVE [25]’s impact happened in the moments in between. Beyond the stage, EVOLVE [25] was busy turning handshakes into collaborations, creating networking opportunities and long-term partnerships. The openness and discussion created opportunities where ideas could be shared, and questions could be asked. Conversations buzzed across the venue as individuals dove into AI breakthroughs, emerging tech, leadership, sustainability, and what it truly means to build resilient, inclusive digital communities.
More than an Event
With over 1,000 attendees on the day and more than 1,200 participants overall, EVOLVE [25] exceeded expectations. It became a celebration of community-driven innovation, an opportunity to step away from the pressures of daily work, gain fresh perspectives, and return with renewed energy. The event marked a significant milestone for Silicon Brighton. EVOLVE [25] was the culmination of years and years of tech initiatives led by our incredible Silicon Brighton community. It served as a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with a shared vision and a passion for progress. EVOLVE [25] has set the stage for an exciting future, be ready for 2026!
