Can you share a bit about your background?
I have been a Health & Performance Coach and Breathwork Instructor for 7 years following a 20 year career in the high pressure world of tech recruitment.
What inspired you to speak at EVOLVE [25]?
I loved the idea of bringing energy to everyone after an amazing morning of content so they were ready for a brilliant afternoon.
What was the key message or idea you most wanted the audience to take away from your talk?
Everything starts with how you breathe, small simple changes can make all the difference.
Were there any audience reactions or questions that really stood out to you?
The smiles on everyone’s faces when they experienced the power of breathwork for the first time.
How does the topic you spoke about connect to your current work or passion projects?
I using different breathing patterns with all my coaching clients to help them focus, increase energy, reduce stress and sleep better.
What emerging trends or challenges in tech (or your field) are you most excited about right now?
I think health tech is a fascinating space that could save so many lives.
What advice would you give to someone looking to make an impact in your area of expertise?
Your mouth is not a part of your respiratory system so it is time to breathe through your nose.
How do you see the future evolving in your industry over the next few years?
I think the health coaching space will become even more exciting with people taking back control of their lives which will hopefully will lead to major health breakthroughs.
What was your favourite part of the EVOLVE experience?
Seeing everyone coming together to learn and grow.
What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects, initiatives, or goals you’re excited to share?
I am doing flow state breathwork at the NEC in Birmingham in October which I cannot wait for. A big goal is to partner with a DJ and bring a big dance breathwork party to Brighton.
