DESCRIPTION:Product Foundry: a 6-week programme supporting &amp\; developin
 g innovations in physical products. Get hands-on - design\, create and tes
 t prototypes in our advanced workshop. \n1 morning a week for 6 weeks at 
 the state-of-the-art workshop. Fully funded programme - no membership or f
 ee required.\nProduct Foundry is an intensive innovation programme to help
  you develop your product ideas through hands-on design\, making and testi
 ng. From 3D printing to user testing\, you’ll be introduced to core skil
 ls in our weekly sessions\, and then have supported time in our advanced p
 rototyping workshop to further develop your skills\, and your product idea
 s to help enhance your commercial impact. \nYou’ll be developing early-
 stage prototypes\; testing ideas\, functionality and user experience. You
 ’ll learn how to generate design solutions\, test your ideas\, and creat
 e product specifications. \nProduct Foundry is an ideal programme for you
 \, if you’d like to:\nDevelop a physical product to help you commerciali
 se and scale\nTake part in a structured programme with a cohort of peers h
 elping to keep you accountable\nRapidly test and improve your product\nLea
 rn essential skills in product design and making prototypes \nAccess expe
 rtise to help define your product proposition and requirements\nReceive sp
 ecialist support relevant to your product idea\, design skill level and de
 velopment challenges\nAccess expertise in areas such as IP\, manufacturing
  and sustainable design\nReceive expert support to use a state-of-the-art

 ould be for you.\nProduct Foundry consists of:\n7 weekly sessions of 4 hou
 rs running every Tuesday morning\, delivered by product design experts fro
 m Plus X and the University of Brighton\, covering core prototyping and de
 sign activities for new product development including innovations in manuf
 acturing\, distribution or sustainability‍‍\nGuided support in product
  development from our expert team\nWhat we’ll cover:\nHow to generate id
 eas with rapid lo-fi models\nHow to test functionality and user experience
  \nHow to take manufacturing constraints into account when developing you
 r product\nHow to make prototypes to share with investors to gain buy-in f

 and tear-downs)\nTue 28 June (am): Presentation (renders\, hi-fi modelling
