DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Brighton EdTech Meetup! This regular meetup is f
 or educators and businesses with an interest in all things EdTech and the 
 future of learning. Usually on the second Wednesday of the month we will b
 e moving to the Fri for a summer social!\nWe will be having an informal ne
 tworking and social gathering to play free arcade machines and board games
  in the sun at Loading Bar\, next to Brighton Pier. Kicking off at 4pm and
  carrying on into the evening this will be a chance to chat with like mind
 ed people who are interested in all things EdTech.\nAbout your Hosts:\nAnd
 rew Pledger is the Lab Engineer at Barclays Eagle Labs\, helping companies
  build their products as well as demystifying Industry 4.0. Andrew has bee
 n running virtual events across the country looking at how emerging tech s
 uch as 3D printing and AR/VR in particular can help create the next genera
 tion of active learners. Eagle Labs is a business incubator space based at
  Preston Circus that aims to help companies scale and flourish. With educa
 tion and technology increasingly overlapping\, we are keen to support busi
 nesses and individuals interested in exploring this exciting space.\nMia P
 ledger is Digital Platforms Lead at Canopy\, Google Certified Trainer\, Co
 ach and co-founder of EdTech startup My Code Kit. After qualifying as a pr
 imary school teacher and specialising in Computing\, Mia discovered a pass
 ion for using technology to enhance teaching and learning. She has worked 
 with a number of organisations to help both young people and adults to imp
 rove their digital skills including MakerClub and Code Club.\nRegister her
