SUMMARY:Brighton - Powered Up Business Networking - May 2024
DESCRIPTION:Powered Up Business Networking (PUBNetworking) is an “out of
hours” networking event that does away with the usual networking formali
ties.\n\nYou’ll get to learn about the people behind the business - with
out a torrent of sales pitches …and bland tea and coffee. And you’ll g
et to have a lot of laughs whilst you’re at it!\n\nAs you know\, the bes
t business connections are the people you want to spend time with outside
of work. They’re the people you can trust\, and whose company you enjoy.
PUBNetworking is the place to find them.\n\nWe have a loose structure\, r
elaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to learn from other business experts
  - with no strings attached.\n\nJust bring yourself\, your e-ticket and yo
ur best smile and you’re good to go.\n\nEach event has four objectives
…\n\nMeet awesome people\n\nWe have a wide range of business people that
attend. From start-ups to those with 30 years experience - across a wide
range of industries. Everyone that attends is under no obligation to atten
d (we have no memberships\, or contracts) so they’re there purely to mee
 t people like you.\n\nBuild long-lasting relationships\n\nWe believe in a
'people buy from people' philosophy. In a relaxed environment\, everyone f
eels comfortable and the connections you make are less forced\, and more g
enuine. You’ll get to know each person in more detail - and have a good
time doing so.\n\nLearn things without pitches\n\nEach event is productive
and valuable. And we want everyone to walk away having learned something
new. Our speakers offer genuine value\, without sneaky sales pitches. We w
ant you to take what you learn and use it to benefit your business.\n\nHav
e fun\n\nAnd above all\, we want you to have fun. Sometimes that’s easie
r with a drink in your hand (it also makes the terrible jokes slightly mor
e tolerable…). Our networking events are all about you\, your passions a
nd your business success.\n\nWhat’s happening this month?\n\nThis month\
, our speaker is the amazing Mica Janiv and her talk is called "To B Corp
or not to B Corp "\n\nEveryone’s talking about B Corp\, including your c
lients. Mica is going to lift the lid on B Corp for us\, so we can all joi
n the conversation.\n\nMica has taken over 35 business through the B Corp
process and is going to give PUBNetworking the inside scoop.\n\nThis is on
e you want to catch!\n\nLocation.\n\nHeld at The Lion &amp\; Lobster\, we
have their function room all to ourselves. And a great selection of drinks
  too!\n\nPlan for the night:\n\n7.30 - Meet\, greet &amp\; network. Your c
hance to sign in\, grab a drink and speak to anyone you’d like.\n\n7.50
 - Introduction from Claire.\n\n7.55 - Your chance to tell the room about y
ourself with a PUBNetworking difference…\n\n8.20 - 1-2-1 with someone yo
 u like.\n\n8.35 - Grab a drink/have a break.\n\n8.50 - Presentation from M
ica.\n\n9.15 - Close the meeting and optional further networking.\n\n9.30

should you wish.\n\nImportant: Due to the nature of the venue\, and room

to come along and enjoy a great evening of laughs\, laid-back networking
and actionable business help\, reserve your space with an e-ticket now.\n\
