Brighton R: July Meetup
We’re a friendly group of local R professionals, meeting regularly to share stories and what inspires us – working in the R environment.
Our July event is being held remotely via zoom, where we’ll be gathering for a couple of talks and networking with local R users.
We’re delighted to be joined by two speakers, kicking off with Jaafar Almusaad, who will be talking to us about the right mindset for R and how we may need to take different approaches to get the best results when using R.
We’ll then have Luke Bandy, a junior data scientist at The Pensions Regulator, who will be sharing one of his personal projects with us, a visualisation of New York taxi trips in Shiny – which we can promise you looks amazing and will give you plenty of helpful tips on how to build an engaging shiny app!
All that, plus the usual fun and banter of connecting with other local R users.
