We are ecstatic to be holding our October event in Barclay’s Eagle Lab in Brighton. Presented by R-extraordinaire, Jeremy Horne, Director at Datacove.
To begin, we have an insightful talk to introduce us to Social Network Analysis. Brought to us by Amit Kohli, Head of Data Insights at Access Social Care. Expanding, “Drawing from my 20-year career in the data for good sector, I emphasize the importance of understanding relationships within data. Network analysis, as I explain, can be thought of as a self-organizing map of useful relationships. I highlight key concepts like nodes and edges, which form the building blocks of network analysis.”
After, we have the pleasure of being joined by the recent University of Sussex Graduate, Charlie Homewood, who is taking us all on a rollercoaster with his talk titled, “An Undergraduate’s R Journey“. A talk created perfectly for everyone – beginner or advanced!
Now, for the part you are all waiting for – refreshments! Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6pm. The talks will commence at 6:30pm and the event will conclude at 8pm.
The conversation will continue after the event at The Joker Pub (Preston Road), for anyone who wishes to continue talking all things R!
As usual, it might just be unbearable to miss our fantastic speakers. So, if you are not able to join us in-person – we are here online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-19fax2XHEM
We look forward to seeing you all theRe!
