SUMMARY:Free coding workshop for underrepresented groups
DESCRIPTION:Codebar is a charity that organises free coding workshops for p
 eople from groups underrepresented in tech\, in a friendly\, safe and supp
 ortive environment. Local companies host us and provide pizza\, and local 
 developers volunteer as coaches.\n\nYou can work through tutorials\, or br
 ing a personal project if you need help with that. Total beginners are ver
 y welcome – we can help you decide where to start your journey.\n\nWorks
 hops happen every other Tuesday. Doors open at 6:30pm for pizza and chat\,
  while we pair up students and coaches. Then it’s coding in pairs from 7
  till 9. Some of us also go for a drink afterwards\, but that’s optional
 .\n\nTo join our community\, create an account at github.com then sign up 
 at codebar.io and join the Brighton chapter. Every fortnight\, you’ll re
 ceive an email invite\, so just reply when you want to attend. No commitme
 nt.
