Lean Agile Brighton: Predictably Agile with Karl Scotland

When

Wednesday 11th May
6:00pm - 7:30pm

Event Type

Lean Agile Brighton is back with another exciting online event this May!

Details

What does it mean for an agile team to be predictable?
How could you tell how predictable an agile team is or whether they are becoming more or less predictable?
Is improving predictability even desirable for an agile team?

Karl Scotland is an Agile Transformation services Practice Manager, who will be exploring these questions and more and introduce some different ways of answering them. Attendees will go away with some new approaches and techniques that they might use as part of an agile transformation to assess how successful they are.

Topics covered will include:

  • review of flow metrics
  • defining predictability in terms of flow metrics (i.e. lead time and throughput)
  • pros and cons and say/do measures
  • predictability and stability
  • predictability and consistency (inequality and coefficient of variation)
  • ageing WIP

Thank you to our sponsors Bright and MPB for their support of our meetups.
