SUMMARY:LTUX Brighton: Creativity and AI
DESCRIPTION:Can generative AI enhance our creative process? What do we gain
or lose when artificial intelligence informs our thinking? How can we use
what already exists to bring our ideas to life? These are some of the que
stions we’ll be exploring in this hands-on craft workshop.\n\nThis sessi
on is open to all UXers\, including those who identify as men.\nWhat happe
ns during the workshop\nDuring the session\, you will:\n\n Compare and co
ntrast emotion-informed creativity with generative AI\n Put your crafting
skills to the test by bringing your ideas to life\n Use reclaimed materi
als to consider the environmental impact of the work we do\n Consider the
  trade-offs of generative AI vs a human-only approach\n\nAfter a chance to
chat and grab some pizza\, attendees will be split into two groups. Each
group will be led through either a guided reflection or an activity involv
ing generative AI. Everyone will then be invited to individually respond t
o their group’s activity\, using the craft materials available at the ve
nue. At the end of the session\, the groups will be asked to respond to a
series of questions\, with the option to share your output and thoughts wi
th the room if you would like to do so.\nAbout the venue &amp\; accessibil
