DESCRIPTION:\n\nAre UX soft-skills “femme-coded”\, “hidden” and und
 ervalued? How does the language in tech lift us up – or hold us back?\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is for our core audience. Women\, Trans\, 
 Non-Binary and GNC inclusive.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre UX soft-skills “femme-cod
 ed”\, “hidden” and undervalued? Who’s really doing the work? And
  how does the language in tech lift us up – or hold us back?\n\nJoin us 
 for a panel discussion where we’ll explore these questions and the impac
 t on all genders. Expect an open and inclusive space to listen\, share exp
 eriences\, and be inspired to turn challenges into opportunities for chang
 e.\n\nThis event stems from a post-UX Brighton 2022 chat among members. Af
 ter watching Matt LeMay’s talk citing Saielle DaSilva’s ‘F-Words of
  successful products’\, we shared our own experiences and thought ‘We
  need more time to discuss this!’\n\nOur panellists include UX and produ
 ct directors\, tech thought leaders\, a linguist\, and a creative leadersh
 ip scholar. Their diverse perspectives will help us to pick apart the stru
 ctures we work within and spark a lively discussion on advancing progress.
