Event Type

People and Culture Club are back this May to discuss, ‘How to Build a Healthier and Happier Team With Employee Benefits’

Details

Work-from-anywhere schemes, unlimited holidays and learning budgets are increasingly becoming firm favourites for employers looking to attract, engage and retain their talent. But what about some of the more traditional benefits?

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that life is unpredictable. So it would come as no surprise that financial benefits such as life insurance and pension contributions continue to sit as firm favourites when it comes to employee benefits.

Your benefits should be an extension of your values and reflect the culture you’ve worked so hard to build. But where to start? And how can you get the most bang for your buck?

In May’s edition of the People + Culture Club, Charlie Cousins (Director at Hooray Health & Protection) will help us explore:

– How having healthier teams ensures you have a healthy business

– How to ensure the employee benefits you choose are actually what your team want (and need). We’ll explore the research and key trends we’re seeing when it comes to choosing employee benefits

– With people wanting unlimited leave and ‘work from anywhere schemes, is there a place for traditional benefits?

– Some of the practical considerations that as a People-person you’ll need to consider before investing in employee benefits

You can join from anywhere as this event is taking place online and as always, these sessions are free to attend!

About People and Culture Club

If you’re looking for a community of People-people who have a bias against traditional ‘HR’, then this is the place for you! Brought to you by Silicon Brighton and Ally Jones, The People + Culture Club is a community of people that care deeply about enabling success through employee-focused initiatives, design-thinking and building scalable people practices. We understand that People-ops is rarely all roses, so this is a safe space to explore the highs and lows that come working in a start-up – or when experiencing hyper-growth
