DESCRIPTION:After a break in August to make the most of the (almost too) su
 nny weather\, we&#039\;re back in September with a new event.\n\nThis time
  around I will put my speaker hat on and show you how to use PHP to build 
 applications running in the console (more details further down).\n\nLike t
 he previous event this one will be hybrid\, meaning you can either join in
  person or online. The only difference is that this time we&#039\;d like y
 ou to register for the meetup\, whether you intend to attend physically or
  virtually!\n\nThe in-person event&nbsp\;will take place at&nbsp\;Spaces&n
 bsp\;in Brighton from 6 pm.\n\nOnline participants&nbsp\;can join the&nbsp
 \;Zoom meeting&nbsp\;from 6:30 pm.\n\nWhen you think of command-line appli
 cations\, PHP doesn&#039\;t immediately come to mind. Yet the language pow
 ers many popular tools\, either as independent programs or to be used with
 in projects.\n\nIn this presentation\, I will explain how to build and dis
 tribute your own PHP command-line applications\, using continuous integrat
 ion tools to ensure compatibility across dependency versions.\n\nThe prese
 ntation should be fairly accessible\, but already being familiar with Comp
 oser and having run commands in a terminal before will help.\n\nHope to se
