It’s been a while, but we’ve been hard at work organising some events for 2024.
As an aperitif, we’re hosting a watch party for the State of the Word 2023 livestream on 11th December starting at 14:30, and we’d love to see you there!
We’ll be able to catch up before and after the presentation, and perhaps take the discussion to the pub.
For those of you that haven’t heard of the State of the Word, it is an annual keynote address delivered by the WordPress project co-founder, Matt Mullenweg. The event includes key updates about the WordPress project and community, highlights from the past year, and a look ahead at how the project will grow in the coming year.
Once the initial presentation is over, Matt will answer questions from the WordPress community. If you have a question to ask, you can either send it ahead of time to ask-matt@wordcamp.org or ask during the event in the live stream chat.
You can learn more about this year’s State of the Word 2023 by visiting this link: https://wordpress.org/state-of-the-word/
Please note, we’re still confirming the venue for this event, but it will be a central Brighton location, and we will update this listing as soon as we can. Please let us know if you’re planning to attend, as it will help us with organising the event.
