SUMMARY:The Software Measurement Landscape - Workshop 2
DESCRIPTION:After the wonderful talk in April from Asim Hussain around meas
urement and power (electrical and other) we are running a roundtable works
hop event to explore this subject in more detail.\nThere are many software
measurement projects emerging from the Green Software community\, mostly
open source\, which is fantastic - but which ones are appropriate for whic
h use cases\, which are relevant to you?\nThis is what we will explore at
this workshop. The projects and options available for measuring the enviro
nmental impact of your software. Front end\, back end\, websites\, cloud i
nfrastructure. It's a potential minefield that we are looking to demistify
together.\nCome join us!\nNB: This will be a repeat event of Workshop 1 (
19th June) to give everyone a second opportunity to join.
