Coolbox Films is a Brighton-based strategic creative and video production agency. They help businesses in complex sectors turn expertise into content that builds trust and drives growth, including sustainability, technology, regulation, and specialist services. We’re a strategic creative agency – specialising in helping innovation led brands turn complexity into growth.
What difference do you make in the world?
There’s tons of content creators out there – we avoid adding to the pile of digital landfill by delivering content that deserves to be seen. That, and life’s too short not to work with fun people, so we’re all about developing great relationships!
How and why did you first get involved with EVOLVE [26]?
We loved being part of the inaugural EVOLVE in 2025 and wanted to come back for more.
Why do you think events like EVOLVE are good for the city and the region?
Brighton is developing a growing reputation as a thriving tech hub, and any event that can highlight that is only going to be a good thing.
What did you get from the day? Tell us about any outcomes or impact.
It’s impossible not to come away from EVOLVE without having learned something. So many incredible speakers sharing their thoughts on everything from how AI is touching every part of our lives; the future of education, politics, the planet. The incidental meetings and conversations that take place. The sheer energy of so many like-minded people in one building.
What were your highlights and main takeaways from the day?
Live DJs, livelier minds.

So many projects I could list here – particularly fond of the animation we did for the Sussex Sea Kelp Recovery Project.
What are the perks of working with / for you?
We’re great collaborators, and take the time to consider the best way of understanding how your business works, and the best way we can communicate that to your audience. On top of that, we like to think we’re fun to work with!
Do you have any projects, initiatives or events coming up that we should know about?
We’re excited by all the opportunities that AI has brought to our industry – but we never lose sight that there are always humans at the start and end of the chain.
