Join us for a panel discussion where we’ll explore these questions and the impact on all genders. Expect an open and inclusive space to listen, share experiences, and be inspired to turn challenges into opportunities for change.
This event stems from a post-UX Brighton 2022 chat among members. After watching Matt LeMay’s talk citing Saielle DaSilva’s ‘F-Words of successful products’, we shared our own experiences and thought ‘We need more time to discuss this!’
Our panellists include UX and product directors, tech thought leaders, a linguist, and a creative leadership scholar. Their diverse perspectives will help us to pick apart the structures we work within and spark a lively discussion on advancing progress.

Lauren Sweeney (she/her) is a UX/UI Designer at 7thSense, a creative technology company that builds high end media servers for the Pro-AV industry. Notably they have recently risen to fame by delivering a project for the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. Lauren is currently studying for her MSc in User Experience Design at the University of Brighton where she is interested in creating immersive experiences with creative technologies.
